He has more than 25 years of experience working for international companies (Landis & Gyr and Siemens) and within the top business schools.
He is currently Executive Director of the In-Company Programme of the San Telmo International Institute, where he is also Professor in the People Management academic section. He combines his business and academic responsibilities with strategic consulting, Human Resources consultancy and as an Executive Coach. He is passionate about the sea and sailing.
He has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Seville, and an Executive MBA diploma from the San Telmo International Institute.
He has complemented his training with various academic development programmes, and graduate in The High Management Programme for the Agri-Food Companies (ADECA, delivered by the San Telmo International Institute).
Additionally, he has obtained Executive Coaching ACTP (Accredited Coaching Training Programme) certification from the European School of Coaching, approved by the ICF (International Coach Federation).
He is a qualified Skipper, with over 15 years of sailing experience along the Spanish coast, particularly Andalusia and the Balearic Islands, both as skipper and ship-owner. In addition, he is regular wind and kite surfer.
He has been an academic director, executive director and professor at the San Telmo International Institute. Furthermore he has held senior roles at many Management Development Programmes for companies such as Abengoa, La Caixa, Cajasol, BBVA, Globalcaja, Schweppes, Carrefour, Coca-Cola Iberian Partners, Airbus, Cecofar, Cepsa, AgroSevilla Covirán, Grupo Mahou San Miguel, Grupo DIA, Grupo Siro, Covap, Heineken, Makro, Sovena, Consum, among others. Passionate for people´s development, as a professor he has accrued nearly 15 years of teaching experience in the areas of leadership, HR management and policies, management of change, professional development, and personal governance.
Lastly, trained to deliver yachting activities and programmes in Spanish (native) and English.
